Pressure has a way of showing up everywhere except where you can see it.

You're performing on the outside and pressurized on the inside.

You're snapping at people who didn't deserve it, then replaying it all night.

You've started questioning yourself instead of questioning the load.

The cost is showing up at home, in your sleep, and in your health.

You have no one at your level you can be fully honest with.

You don't recognize yourself anymore, and tired of pretending you're fine.

Untied Workshop: A Two-Day Intensive for Leaders Under Pressure

A two-day reset for founders and senior leaders who are carrying more than anyone sees. Get clear on the pressure, learn what it is doing to you, and leave with a personal plan for leading well when it rises.

About the event

2-Day Leadership Intensive | November 5–6 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily

The higher you lead, the more pressure you carry. Burnout, overwhelm, and isolation at the top are not signs of a weak leader. They are often signs of a leader under pressure. And pressure that stays inside a leader does not stay there. It shows up in their decisions, conversations, and ultimately, their entire organization.

Led by former hostage negotiator Ryan Dunlap, this two day intensive walks leaders through the F.I.R.S.T. Steps Framework from Ryan's game-changing leadership book, How to Untie a Balloon. You will tackle real pressures you are carrying right now and work it through them while building your own Conflict Clarity Plan: a personal, practical system for identifying, simplifying, and mitigating pressure that is

Why you need to be in the room:

You have spent years investing in others. Almost none of that investment has gone into the person carrying the weight of it all; you.

You belong in this room if:

  • You are performing on the outside and pressurized on the inside

  • You have noticed yourself leading your people, teams, and organization below your greatest potential

  • The cost is already showing up somewhere: your sleep, your health, your home, or the way you treat others

  • You have no one at your level you can be honest with about what leading actually costs you

This is not a seminar you can sit in the back of. It is two days with a small room of leaders from other companies who carry what you carry, and it asks something of you. What you get back is clarity, a plan, and the capacity to lead the way you already know you can.

What you will learn:

  • The F.I.R.S.T. Steps Framework: Feelings, Interests, Relationships, Situations, and Toll

  • How to identify your triggers and the early warning signs that show up before anyone else sees them

  • A systematized way to reduce the impact that pressure has on you and those in your care

  • How to build resilience and capacity to lead as your best self

All attendees will receive:

  • A personally signed copy of How to Untie a Balloon: A Negotiator's Guide to Avoid Popping Under Pressure

  • An advanced digital copy of How to Untie a Balloon: A Negotiator's Guide to Avoid Popping Under Pressure - 2nd Edition

  • The F.I.R.S.T. Steps workbook and a completed Conflict Clarity Plan

  • Breakfast and lunch both days
